The City of Marina, located along the Central Coast of California in Monterey County, was incorporated in 1975 and has a current population of around 20,000 (according to the 2010 U. S. Census). Marina has a friendly hometown feel, while providing the advantages of being close to the larger cities of Monterey (about 8 miles to the south) and Salinas (about 8 miles to the east).

The downtown area of Marina is located just off Highway 1 and can be reached when coming from the north by taking the Reservation Road exit, or when coming from the south by taking the Del Monte Boulevard exit.  With easy access to many recreational opportunities and local attractions. Marina is a great place to visit and a great place to live
